Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with Stan Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

1. Bookings & Payments

1.1 All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a 75% deposit or full payment.

1.2 Payments may be made via PayFast, EFT, or PayShap.

1.3 Your payment constitutes confirmation of your booking. Without payment, Stan Photography cannot guarantee availability.

1.4 The remaining balance is payable on the day of the shoot, prior to or during the session.

2. Cancellations, No-Shows & Postponements

2.1 Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2.2 Failure to attend a scheduled session, cancellation, or postponement within 48 hours of the booking will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.

2.3 Cancellations or postponements made outside of the 48-hour window may be accommodated at the discretion of Stan Photography, subject to availability.

3. Late Arrivals & Rescheduling

3.1 Clients are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled session time.

3.2 Stan Photography operates on a limited daily booking schedule. Once a time slot is reserved, it is held exclusively for the client.

3.3 Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time and may necessitate rescheduling, subject to availability and additional fees.

3.4 Stan Photography reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session if delays significantly impact the day’s schedule.

4. Additional Services & Fees

4.1 Optional makeup services are available at R800 per person.

4.2 Additional edited images are charged at R250 per image.

4.3 Travel fees apply where the shoot location falls outside the standard service area and will be communicated in advance.

5. Copyright & Image Usage

5.1 All images captured during a session remain the intellectual property of Stan Photography.

5.2 By booking, the client grants Stan Photography the right to use images for marketing, advertising, website, and portfolio purposes.

5.3 Clients who do not wish for their images to be used for promotional purposes may purchase full copyright ownership for R1,500, which must be arranged prior to image delivery.
